Smooth Synergy uses a completely natural and organic system.  The FDA-approved spray solution is made up of water, mineral salt bronzers, and the vegetable-derived DHA 20.  Who would have thought that beets would help me look so great?  I now have a new appreciation for the ravishing root.  Plus it dries in about 5 minutes, so you won’t have to walk around feeling sticky, like you often will with other spray tans.

Because the DHA 20 works with your skin and is not just a surface treatment, the tan will continue to develop over the next 5-12 hours and will be your own natural tan skin color, instead of that scary orange that so many bronzers produce.  The solution is odorless and non-toxic (you can even breathe it while your face is sprayed), and because the tan is carefully applied by an aesthetician using an airbrush, you are assured an even and natural-looking coverage.  There are different levels of color, so that you will get a customized tan and won’t end up looking too dark.  I received a medium tan, and it has developed into a beautiful golden color that reminds me of my youthful summers at the lake!  Ahhh, the good old days…

I thought it was important to do a follow up and say that I am still tan! 
Despite an overcast weekend and being in an office everyday, my skin is still the hue of my natural tanning color (no orange, no weird brown). 
I moisturize in the morning and before I go to bed to prolong the life of the tan, and I am so pleased that it is sticking around!

Tips for the Spray Tan at Smooth Synergy:
- Wear dark, loose fitting clothing that day, so that the bronzer won’t stain anything.
- You will want to wait 8 hours before taking a shower, so plan accordingly.
- If you want just your legs, or just your face tanned, there are different pricing options available.
- Moisturize twice a day to prolong the effects of your UV-less tan.
