Just so everyone knows, I am a young woman of 27 who takes mighty good care of her skin. I eat well, I don’t smoke, I use sunscreen, and yes I am a little obsessive about it. In fact I get made fun of often from my friends because of my particular care of my skin. I look pretty good, I think. So when I met with Regina Viotto, a specialist in the BIO-SCULPT FACIAL and a skin care guru, I was a little concerned that I did not need such a treatment.

Let me back up. The BIO-SCULPT FACIAL is a facial in which positive and negative electric charge is delivered into the skin using a machine with soft wet skin pads that carry the charge as the facialist massages and contours the skin in the opposite direction of gravity to tighten the skin and the muscles. The positive and negative electric charge tightens the muscles like a face-lift without surgery and also helps promote collagen growth as well as improve skin texture. One treatment causes drastic improvement that lasts three days or so, but a series of three treatments over a three-week period has long term affects that can be improved upon with touch up treatments for special occasions along the way. Your facial muscles, like other muscles in the body, have muscle memory and this treatment is like weight lifting for the face. The more that the muscles are tightened the better the long term affects. Prior to the treatment the facialist also creates a special customized serum. Each ingredient is in its own medicinal container mixed in a specialized blend using a syringe to precisely measure each amount and to keep everything sterile. The facialist then applies the serum and massages the face using the wands from the machine with their electric charge.

Okay, so I was thinking that my face didn’t need the lift. I thought that I was doing pretty well in that department. The results are really drastic. Regina assured me that I would see results even though my skin was a bit firmer than the older BIO-SCULPT clients. Regina always performs the facial on one side of the face first, so that you can see the before and after affect. WOW! It looked as if I had a stroke.

Regina had warned me that it would look that dramatic, but even though she told me, there was a quite a shock factor. Even Regina was surprised at how well the treatment took to my semi-youthful face. After just a little tingle of electricity my muscles tightened, I could feel them tighten as the treatment was occurring, and the one side of my face was drastically different. My eyebrow was considerably higher, the lines on my forehead erased, my cheekbones looked chiseled and I had an overall appearance of a thinner face. It was truly unbelievable. After Regina finished the other side of my face I noticed also that the quality of my skin was so much softer as well. I would have never believed it if I hadn’t seen it myself. And all of this takes under 30 minutes.
