Tucked away underground, this spa feels like a light and airy retreat from the bustle above. The staff is pampering but not intrusive, and the emphasis is on good treatment more than funky attitude. Clean and cheerful, it's the perfect place to touch yourself up for the rest of the week.

Allure really does do it all, top to bottom, from hairstyling to pedicures. Specialties include top facial treatments, including a glycolic acid application at a super-effective 50-percent concentration, typically found only in doctor's offices. The bikini waxes--Brazilian or otherwise--have developed quite a following. Allure's airbrush tanning treatment will have everyone wondering if you spent last weekend in Jamaica.
